Award Winning Ridgely PTA is looking for volunteers to fill open positions for 2009/2010. Did you hear our Climate Control Committee won an award for Best Advocacy Program in Baltimore County? Join us.
Help us continue the fight for air conditioning at Ridgely. You may be hesitating because you don’t have experience, or you haven’t joined PTA before, or you are not sure what it will encompass, and you’re busy, and your kids have games and practices and lessons and homework…and don’t forget work. We are all overbooked, but what’s more important than our children’s education?
Maybe you are waiting for someone to ask you. Well I am asking you. And we have something to fit everyone’s schedule. Help me bring Parent Programs to Ridgely. Help me to expand Arts in Action and bring back the Runway project and make it bigger and better next year. What do you want for your PTA membership next year? PTA is a great opportunity to get to know Ridgely, other parents, teachers and administrators. You will be able to have input on cultural activities for Ridgely students, first hand news of what’s happening at Ridgely, and the opportunity to have an impact on where the money goes.
